One of our three featured guests for Disruptors: 2012 is Paul Gratton, chairman of the board at First Weekend Club, a non-profit organization that is striving to revolutionize the way film lovers engage with Canadian cinema. Whenever a Canadian movie is released, First Weekend Club sends an email to its members to let them know when and where they can see it. And in August, 2012, the organization plans to launch First Weekend Flix, a video-on-demand streaming platform that will feature a curated library of the best Canadian films on the market.
