We are excited to be working with to offer Phytomedical members another perk of high quality cannabis testing at a discounted price!
Now a days many medical cannabis patients and home growers like to know exactly what they are putting into their bodies. For many this means knowing exactly what is in their medical cannabis. If you order your prescription from one of the Health Canada approved licensed producers then chances are the medicine has already been through third party testing and most of the information you're curious about is listed on the website before you make your selection.
For the average home grower the situation is a bit different. If they want to know the basic potency of their own medical cannabis or more in depth information then testing is a necessity.
Through Canvas Labs Phytomedical members can now test their strains for cannabinoid profile, total THC, CBD, delta-8 THCV, CBN, THCA, terpene analysis, residual solvent analysis, microbes, heavy metal screening, moisture content, foreign materials and pesticide screening.
Testing can be done on flower / bud, extracts (rosin, buffer, shatter, RSO, etc.), tinctures, concentrates, topicals and edibles with only small sample sizes needed and comes with a certificate of analysis. Another benefit of membership with with thanks to Canvas Labs.

With the amount of cross breeding, genetic testing & new hybrid cannabis strains being developed daily many people have differing opinions when it comes to the legitimacy of classifying cannabis into the sativa or indica species. Many medicinal strains will list being either indica or sativa "dominant" because 100% authentic sativa strains, which are often land-races found in warmer climates along the equator like the Congo, are harder to find. That being said, here is a funky illustration of some of the commonly accepted character traits & medicinal benefits of each individual plant.
Getting to know your plants will allow you to choose strains best suited for your needs at any time of the day. Something uplifting & energetic to inspire creativity & feel good during the work day when you need relief but also have to focus & get things done. Followed by something a little heavier for the evening when the aches & pains of the day have set in & you're ready for some serious R,R&R (Rest, Relief & Relaxation). Not to mention strains for anytime in between.
For more information about how medical cannabis can help improve your quality of life the be sure to visit www.phytomedical.ca or call (647) 907-5110 & let's talk!
