Third-year Graphic Communications Management at The Creative School student Gouri (Gia) Sharma is gaining hands-on industry experience as an ISM Project Management Intern at TC Transcontinental!

Through her internship, Gia is applying her GCM knowledge to real projects while building confidence, collaboration skills, and a deeper understanding of the industry.

Her advice to incoming GCM students? “University goes by faster than you think, so explore your interests, get involved in extracurriculars, and take every opportunity to network and learn new skills.”

Congratulations Gia on your internship! Link in bio to learn more about how GCM helps students gain industry experience.

This April, media arts students from Pickering High School joined Graphic Communications Management for a hands-on workshop and visit!

Grade 11 and 12 students toured GCM’s facilities, explored the world of graphic communications, and learned how packaging, print, design, branding, and creative technology connect in the industry.

The group also participated in a hands-on packaging workshop led by GCM’s Will Snyder and Hayden McGreal, where they designed and produced their own packaging pieces.

It was great to introduce students to the creative and technical career pathways connected to graphic communications and the production industry.
