Canadian Succulents

I've been a little quiet on here lately, and for a good reason - I gave birth to a sweet little baby girl in February and am soaking up all the newborn cuddles 🩷

Canadian Succulents has still been running workshops across the GTA, with help from an incredible new employee, who's been so wonderful and helpful through this new transition.

I will be slowly getting back to hosting workshops myself in the next couple of weeks and will be back at the Toronto Flower Market in May 🌸

Navigating motherhood and entrepreneurship has been a wild ride. When I was pregnant I often got the question "how much maternity leave will you take?" The reality of owning and running a small business is that I haven't really been able to take any time off. While actively in labour, I was at the greenhouse madly trying to finish some last minute prep, and hours after giving birth I was on the phone trying to coordinate workshops and payments. I truly wouldn't have it any other way. I love this little business I've built and I love the freedom it will eventually provide me when I am able to take this little girl to the greenhouse with me everyday, and share my love for plants with her 🌿
