Creative Works Studio

rson is treated as an artist first, rather than as a patient. The healing process is based on the integration of the principles of mental health, primary care, visual arts, mentorships and opportunities to showcase their talent. We support our members on their journey to self-expression through art, greater self-esteem, improved confidence and eventually increased participation within the larger community. The Studio has a partnership with the University of Toronto's Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy and is actively involved in education, mental health research and community outreach as a means of disseminating information and reducing the stigma of mental illness. We welcome your interest and involvement in our organization as a participant, supporter or volunteer!
