Can you put a hot pot on a quartz countertop?

A warm pot for a brief moment is usually fine. But direct, high heat or leaving hot cookware on quartz for extended periods can damage the resin and may lead to discoloration over time.

The safest habit? Use a heat resistant mat instead of placing hot cookware directly on the countertop.
