Formed as a tribute to the man himself, each player has placed the name of one of Gary's many film and tv characters on the back of their jerseys in place of their own names. Our captain Ray will proudly wear a "G" in place of the captain's "C" and instead of "A"s for our assistant captains Dave, Kelly, and Eric will wear "A", "R", and "Y" respectively.
The Roller Buseys won their first game of the season on Saturday, 4-1. It was a dominant performance by the brilliant pair of Greg Vassos and Ray Bramberger that potted the markers, but Andrew Packer had a lights-out performance in goal, earning himself the league's 3rd star of the week honors and a gift card to the Beer Store. Great Job Tendy!
