Moonbeam Books

I have put off sharing the news as long as I could but I am sad to say that Moonbeam Books will be closing. Our last day open will be January 14th, 2024.

We’re not saying goodbye just yet - we are still receiving books and fun stuff to make sure this is as good of a holiday shopping experience as we can, and we still have a couple events planned for December. However, there are a few changes that are taking effect immediately:
- we will no longer be issuing gift cards and we’re asking that you redeem existing gift cards as soon as you can
- we are no longer collecting points, although we will be encouraging people who have points to spend to do so
- all returns or exchanges must be made by December 31st

I have a lot of feelings about closing Moonbeam and about what Moonbeam has meant to the community that I’m not quite ready to dive into yet, so for now we are operating on a “business as usual” basis. We are asking for your continued support through the holiday if you can and in return we will try to give you the best shopping experience and recommendations that we can, just like we always have. My only request is that anyone visiting us in store tries not to bring up the closure unless it’s absolutely necessary - it’s still an emotional subject for me especially but also my staff.

For now I will just say that it has been the greatest pleasure of my life to share this store and community with all of you and I look forward to doing that through December as well.
