ֆʟօաʟʏ ƈɦɨքքɨռɢ ǟաǟʏ...
2021: closer to the start of my lifting, this was after massively cutting weight to what was supposed to be show date weighing at 99.6lbs on that day.
2022: after "fixing" my metabolism, I soon realized it was hard for me to actually gain weight after building [little] lean muscle tissue. Calories were just absorbed.
2023: somewhere between 2022 and 2023, I decided not to track my calories and just stuck with mindful eating. It was hard, let me tell you! Your mind can play tricks on you. Just choosing the right foods did the trick for me.
2024: here we are. I' ve been trying to build my shoulders, and I see something peeking. We have ways to go!
My greatest takeaway: DONT STOP 👊🏽

I feel that these points are important to mention to get the best benefits when consuming caffeine. Especially! when using it for physical performance. It's easy to over consume and can cause you some set backs when not being mindful of your amount intake.
Knowing these points will allow you to appropriately time and dose your caffeine consumption so you can use this extra high energy at times when you need it most.
If your workout/training sessions are in the morning, it is okay to consume coffee prior to that session 𝗕𝗨𝗧 understand that you 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 experience that afternoon crash. The plus side is that your cortisol levels will be high, pairing the high cortisol level with caffeine will greatly improve your session.
As your cortisol levels drop throughout the day and your workout session is late in the afternoon, chances are you will need/want that caffeine to help you 𝗕𝗨𝗧 understand this will affect your rest. This is a give and take situation, you can't have it all.
Assess your situation and schedule to figure out what time caffeine consumption works best for you.
If you have any questions about how you can safely and effectively fit caffeine into your schedule and/or nutrition feel free to DM me and I will be sure to help you out as best as I can.
Have a great Monday!

There's this thing going around saying that it's highly difficult to build muscle mass for someone my age (40) unless you have some crazy wild mutant genetics. That, I know for sure, I DON'T have!
Im just here to let you know any thing is possible. If you really want it you'll get there. If you keep d*icking around, you never really whole-heartedly wanted it. Anyone knows, if you really want something that bad, you WILL move mountains to make things happen.
