"February 2024" marks the 50th release in this ongoing monthly journal of abstract musical reflections, and I feel like that bears noting, observing, and perhaps even celebrating.

When I started this project in January 2020 I had no idea if I'd be able to commit to a monthly schedule, no clue whether it would maintain my interest for an entire year. I suppose it worked in the project's favour that I had a lot of spare time that year to work on it. And as 2020 turned into 2021, and 2021 turned into 2022, this project began to become a regular part of what I do and how I express myself, and how I feel best able to share where I'm at with the world.

Thank you very much to those of you who have followed along this trip with me so far. I have no illusions that anybody else understands what I'm trying to say with this work, and sometimes it feels like I'm saying the same things over and over and over again, but I do hope that you continue to find something of interest in what I do and I hope that you'll continue to travel along this journey with me in the months and years to come...
