📊 State of the Express Entry Pool — October 2025
From August 17 to September 28, the Express Entry pool underwent interesting shifts: although the total number of profiles fell by 3,120, the number of top-scoring profiles increased.
🟢The 501–600 score range added +1,601 profiles
🟢The 601–1,200 range also saw a modest increase of +100 profiles
🟢Meanwhile, many lower and middle ranges saw declines.

In September, IRCC issued 10,018 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) across various draw types — significantly more than in August.
💡 What this means for you:
🟢The pool is getting more competitive, especially in higher CRS ranges.
🟢If your score is in the 500s–600s, you’re gaining in strength relative to the pool.
🟢But don’t rely just on that — aim to improve your profile (education, language, work experience, etc.).
🟢Keep an eye on draw patterns: category-based draws (trades, CEC, provincial pathways) may offer additional opportunities.

Alberta just received a higher immigration nomination allocation through the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP).
