We are very sad to share that our colleague and friend, Min Lun Cho, is facing an unimaginable tragedy.

While Min Lun was at work, his family experienced a sudden crisis that led to the loss of his beloved 23 month old daughter, Oriana. She was rushed to SickKids Hospital and placed on life support, but despite every effort, Min Lun had to say goodbye to his little girl.

No parent should ever have to endure such a loss. Oriana was deeply loved, and her absence leaves a space that can never be filled.

Min Lun is now navigating profound grief and shock while also supporting his older daughter through this loss. With his parents overseas and limited support nearby, he is carrying an incredibly heavy burden.

We are coming together to support Min Lun and his family during this difficult time. Donations will help provide financial stability as he takes time away from work and will help with funeral or memorial-related expenses, counselling, childcare, household needs, and other immediate supports.
