We experienced a strong start to the 2021 Toronto Real Estate Market with January 2021 home sales amounting to 6,928 and purchases that pushed the average price to nearly $1 million.
Pierre states, “If December and January are any indication of what the 2021 Toronto Real Estate market will be like, we are set to have a huge year. Previously we had said that homes would see double-digit increases, but what we’re starting to see is that downtown Toronto condominiums are really starting to move (similar to the way it was pre-pandemic). Based on what’s happening in January, it looks like spring will come early and it will be a great spring market for Toronto Real Estate. If you are expecting condo prices to go down further, it does not seem like that is happening at all because properties are selling quickly with multiple offer scenarios.
