First visit - no hot water , stainless heat exchanger change colour on anodyne - it’s sign it’s too much heat. Cleaned flame sensors- started works.
But main problem that installers dosnt recalculate supply gas line:/ Need to be increased from1 to 1 1/4
Next : gas leak. Hou. se 60 years old. We found 4.

🚨 Emergency Service – Milton
At 7:00 AM, we received a message — the indoor temperature had dropped to 16°C.
By 8:30 AM, we were already on site in Milton.
After a diagnostic inspection, it was clear that a 15-year-old Carrier furnace was no longer worth repairing. The client decided to install a brand-new furnace with a 10-year warranty.
We returned at 3:00 PM to complete the installation, pulled a new control cable for a Google WiFi thermostat, connected the humidifier, and installed a UV lamp with a carbon filter as a bonus.
Late in the evening, the thermostat showed errors (W2 / Y not detected). We later replaced it with a professional Sinope thermostat — and everything worked perfectly.

💡 Our advice: don’t buy critical HVAC components just because they’re on sale.

Just a story for Canadian installer , who 20 years soi the same way. Furnace , call no heat. Client change the filters, check the breaker - no running.
We started inspection.
No 24 v, but have line- tester is flashing. Stop 🛑, be careful. I check the fuse- on position. Turn off, open connection box - and C'est ici!!!!
Caps destroyed, wires are burned. First mind - check the the pump - shows O.L. . Check inside - garbage.
This little story shows that we need to do maintenance annually. Second- takes 30 dollars. Plugged 🔌 to new cord - and if something happens with pump- our client not loose the heat.

❗ DISCOVERED ONLY DURING A FURNACE REPLACEMENT ❗
During a routine furnace replacement, we uncovered something most homeowners never see — mold and bacterial buildup circulating through the entire HVAC system.

Simple- do the maintenance and know your CO- All will be good. But our new client doesn’t do this. After we fixed the sound from exhaust fan and finished the maintenance. We check the CO-its 1000 and inside -8 ppm
