Patty Pigeon just got an acceptance letter from Pigeon Polytechnic… with a full scholarship!! 🙌🏼 She starts in September and plans to major in engineering.

She says it’s 2026 and we should have flying cars by now. Clearly the humans could use a bit of her bird smarts.

✅ Bucket list: Do an in-person market

I’m overwhelmed and my heart is so full. Family, friends, and (new!) friends came by to check out the Rustic Worm booth debut this past weekend ❤️

I can’t put into words how much I appreciate each of you for being a part of something I’ve poured countless hours into:
• designing/making each unique crochet
• marketing and putting myself out there on the interwebs
• DIY-ing all signage, labels, and table banner

(Yes! The Rustic Worm banner is hand painted) 🎨

I hope this will be the end of all-nighter market prep… at least for a lil’ while 😂. I’ve learned a lot from fellow vendors and each of you! Your feedback and support, whether in-person or online, inspires me to bring more characters to life and do more markets in the future.

💡 My biggest takeaway:
Do the thing that scares you.

I picked up my first crochet hook in 2020 and thought, “Ha! - what are the chances people would be interested in what I make?” as I looked at my floppy coaster attempt with missed increases. Eventually, the dream evolved into sharing my creations in-person.

I’m glad I took a leap of faith every time that voice wondered, “what if it doesn’t work out?”
