With close to a combined 195 years riding experience, we promote knowing your environment, limits and bike. We are based around the Greater Toronto Area. We are not-for-profit, don’t keep any proceeds and support local businesses. We are a diverse group of people, from a wide variety of backgrounds and professions. We share a strong bond, with deep roots in family, unity, friendship, support, and
respect. Out To Ride continues to grow, staying true to these roots. As a family we always support and uplift each other, bringing a positive energy. Safety awareness is crucial, we like everyone to ride and come home. You never need to go beyond your limits. We want to change the negative stereotypes that motorcycle clubs have acquired over the years. Community outreach and leadership are important to our club. We participate in local charity events and fundraisers, with the goal of helping those in need. We believe in the importance of improving public awareness, and opinion, of motorcycles within our community. We have supported several causes over the years. Quite simply, Out To Ride is a group of positive people, lending a helping hand, where it is needed. History
The club was started by 3 close friends, who always wanted someone to ride with in 2007. They introduced other friends with bikes to each other, and the group slowly started to build. In 2009 we were at our biggest, with up to 40 members, and dozens of friends. Unfortunately in 2009 we lost our President, Steven Wright. Our riding community was shocked, with many people giving up riding. The next year we struggled to rebuild, loosing members but growing closer as a family. In 2011 we decided not to let the club die. In honor of our President Steven Wright, we decided to never give anyone his title. Our patch was also redesigned in January of 2011. We kept it close to the original but we breathed new fire into the bellies of members. For the coming years we are planning on becoming more organized, giving the club and community our 100%.
