Authentic Performance

** ANNOUNCEMENT **

It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the upcoming closure of Authentic Performance on October 28th to all new business. Due to ongoing and increasingly challenging health issues and impact of the recent COVID years, I will be retiring and winding down a business which I love.

It has been a great run over the last 9.5 years offering modern muscle performance solutions (and the odd classic here and there) to the local Toronto and Canadian Mopar and GM-based vehicle community.

You can’t deliver custom performance solutions without the best people, partners and products and that starts with my partner in crime and team mate Adam Clay. The goal from the outset for both of us was to go above and beyond and offer education on premium solutions, and do the best installation we could possibly do ….. and Adam has been an absolute pleasure to work with and delivered on all levels and then some! I am very happy to have collaborated together and share a passion for cars and customers, and so proud of what we produced together. Thanks for everything my friend!!

I would also like to thank Matthew Wayling for offering some nighttime install and repair expertise support when we needed an extra hand!

We had many, many great partners and suppliers and far too many to list here, but want to thank you all for working with us closely and supplying best-in-breed products, services and most importantly friendship!

We could not have gotten this far without some amazing tuning expertise. If anyone knows modern muscle performance, they know you can install the best products possible, but without proper tuning, all those parts won’t dance together without a good calibration. I can’t thank AJ Berge from Hemituner Performance enough for his expert solution guidance and the hundreds of amazing tunes he provided from the very beginning and over the years as we grew! I would also like to thank Johan Mangs from Diablotoona LLC and Edgard Niebles from Dsmlights Tuning for their awesome tuning skills and prompt service whenever we came calling! Wow what an “Eh-Team” of tuners we had to work with on our Dyno and the street!

We were also nothing without our customers, and Adam and I want to thank our many loyal clients for their trust and support over the years. Custom builds and high performance automotive require lots of patience and we want to extend our heartfelt THANK YOU to over 700+ customers for your business and friendship!

We produced some amazing and memorable custom high performance Mopar builds along the way. When something didn’t work out or parts failed, we made things right as best we could, which is the only way good service should be defined. We feel we built a great reputation in the Mopar community for quality and offering fair honest pricing and turning customer’s dreams into reality …… and that makes both Adam and I happy at the end of the day!

Lastly I would like to thank my wife Jane for her continued support in so many ways and for supporting my automotive passion every day!

Ah Fall boost with a HEMI, there is nothing like it!

Check out this build we just delivered yesterday to David from Windsor.

Adam did a masterful job on the install with this beautiful 2019 Challenger 392 S**t Pack manual 6 speed and only 4,000 km!

Here are the mods:

- Whipple Superchargers 3.0L GenV Supercharger kit
- 3.5" upper pulley (stock size with 6.4 Whipple kit)
- 6% ATI ATI Racing damper
- Smooth Boost kit from Modern Muscle
- StainlessWorks Long Tube Headers and cat-back
- McLeod Clutches RST clutch
- Billet Technology catch can in black
- Engine machining and assembly by Nash Competition Engines Engines
- Expert tuning with HP Tuners from Edgard at Dsmlights for 93 octane

At only 7.5 lbs boost, it put done fantastic numbers of 708 RWHP / 590 TQ on our Dynojet. This thing isn't even working hard yet!

Well we went to new heights on one of our latest projects!
One of our regular customers brought in a new 2022 RAM Powerwagon with 400 kms and wanted some suspension and electronic / lighting upgrades, along with modifying his snowmobile trailer.
Adam did a fantastic job on the lift, undercarriage, side step upgrades and massive widow-maker 37” wheels, while I got off easy on some lighting, CB Radio and trailer mods.
I must say RAM did an amazing job on the 2500HD 6.4L from interior to heavy duty off road components and trailer video cameras.

If you are not already aware, the annual GTALx charity car show gathering is on this coming Saturday, June 4th from 10am-3pm at the Heart Lake Conservation Area in Brampton, Ont.

After a 2 year break due to COVID, we are back as the prime sponsor again this year.

The one and only Fram-Man Bryan Minhinnett has organized another great event and although there will be no vendors this time, there are still lots of good friends showing off their Mopars, food and cool prizes and perfect weather in the mid 20s reported.

So see if you can spare a few hours, come for a walk-about with your friends or family.

Adam and I would like to wish everyone a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and upcoming holiday week!
