For World Football Day we took a trip down to Nathan Phillips Square just to make sure there’s enough space for Germany’s name on this year’s trophy ⚽🇩🇪😉

On Saturday, we were guided by the amazing Iris Schweiger through the heart of Toronto for yet another one of our German Walks! As we made our way through the historic sites and hidden corners, Iris showed us how deeply German heritage is woven into the very fabric of the city.

We had the opportunity to end our tour at the and enjoyed their diverse program celebrating German language, art, and culture for „Doors Open Toronto 2026”.

A big thank you goes out, not only to Iris, but to all of our committed participants who showed up ready to learn and discover more about Germany and Canada’s shared history - despite a little bit of rain!🇩🇪🇨🇦
