Recent expeditions. Reference library date, volunteering at , saving a stump from the beautiful backyard Manitoba Maple we still don’t understand why the landlord cut down, pair of snuggling dandelions, posing with dandelions (but the dandelions are out of frame oops), the rainbow couch where we sit and read books to each other, distracted by , hanging out in a tree by the ferry docks, cat having a snooze with her favourite blanket and toy.

On the last weekends of the month, hosts a Lunchtime Recital at ☕️ (in Toronto’s Parkdale neighbourhood), and has invited Imaginary Expedition to join the curated round of performers whenever we can. Here we are at April’s edition, where we performed alongside , , and . We’ll likely be back for another Lunchtime Recital at the end of May (stay tuned for more details).

May is starting for us with the fundraiser at Friday May 1st. This is going to be an exciting night of 40 different Toronto folk acts. Highly recommended way to spend your evening. www.torontofolkfestival.com has more details.

Freespirited folk songwriters with chamber music sensibilities, exploring natural and emotional landscapes in intricate harmony and counterpoint. Imaginary Expedition is a Toronto-based duo of Victoria Dobbs and Glyph Greenleaf who combine folk-revival songwriting with early music composition techniques and intimate, unamplified performance practice. The ensemble draws people closer, quietly pushing the limits of what can be achieved with only their alto and baritone voices and a classical guitar.
