Many big changes are coming to Canadian immigration. It'll be interesting to see how this one has an impact.
As of March 25, 2025 the following changes apply:
β
CRS Points for Job Offers Removed β If your Express Entry profile currently includes a qualifying job offer, the additional CRS points will be removed.
β
Effective Date β While the change takes effect on March 25, 2025, it may take a few days for your CRS score to be updated.
β
No Impact on Eligibility β You will remain in the Express Entry pool, and no action is required.
β
Active ITAs Are Not Affected β If you have an active Invitation to Apply (ITA) that has not expired or been declined, you remain eligible for your specific round of invitation.
πΉ The job offer factor will still be part of the following:
- The selection grid for the Federal Skilled Worker Program;
- Eligibility for the Federal Skilled Trades Program; and
- The Provincial Nominee Program, where provinces
You should continue listing job offers in your Express Entry profile to maintain eligibility for various programs.
