Packing up the nibbles, grabbing a blanket or 2 to have lots of room to sit and lounge on, scouting out a quiet place or even in a park for lots of people watching and spending time talking and nibbling with my boys… love it! 💕 🧺

the moment I realized I was a goddess..

**TW - speaking on self esteem, body image**

Since as long as I can remember, I have had low self esteem.. always thinking I wasn’t pretty enough, I wasn’t thin enough, my legs too big, my arms too big, my stomach too big. I don’t know when it started as a child.. but by my teens… it was so low. Being in an extremely toxic relationship for most of that time didn’t help either.. but when I was free from that, as I left college, I was given the opportunity to model for Whitney Heard]]. I was afraid and nervous but I wanted to do this more than anything. It ended up being one of the best weekend of my life. I felt a way I had only felt momentarily.. empowered, seen, beautiful.

After that experience, I knew that something had changed in me. I could see parts that I didn’t particularly like.. (like how my arms looked big to me..) but it was beautiful because it was ME! I saw my energy and my light, I felt a glow. This would be the beginning of a beautiful and incredible journey (that is still ongoing), where I keep finding my love for myself and my body, over and over again. I can’t express how the photographers in my life, such as Whitney Heard]] and , have helped me see me for me, that I was and am truly beautiful.

I am a goddess.
