Trudeau announces $9B in financial aid for students struggling because of pandemic | CBC News 04/22/2020

Good news for our students and those that have graduated after December 2019.

The government has just announced the new Canada Emergency Student Benefit to assist you during the pandemic. Between May and August 2020 you will be eligible to receive $1250 monthly or if you have dependents $1750. This will be implemented after legislation is passed which will happen shortly and it will be administered through CRA.

In addition if you are willing to help with the pandemic the government will be creating grants to pay you between $1000 to $5000 to compensate you during the next 4 months.

More details will follow soon.
