— It’s been 10 years since I graduated, and I never shared this moment when it happened.

Truth is, I always knew I was meant to be a musician. I never saw post-secondary as part of my path I was confident in my abilities and talent to succeed without it. I went to make my mom proud.

Looking back, it was all worth it. I cultivated valuable relationships that I still have today.

Sometimes you don’t do things because you want to you do them for the people you love.
