Beautiful Eid Day in the perfect golden hour farshi dress and Apex sandals
I think it's a big blessing to be able to offer our Eid prayers in a mosque that's within 1km away from our place and to celebrate Eid on a Wednesday in a country that's so far away from home and that's apparently so far away from our religion and culture.
I haven't hosted for Eid for almost 2 years now but grateful and thankful for our friends and family who never forget us in their celebration.

দেশের ঈদ মিস করছি বললে হয়ত ভুল হবে। দেশের থাকলেও আজকে সারাদিন বাসায় আটকা থাকতেই হতো। দেশেও গত কুরবানী ঈদে নিজের বাবা কে না দেখেই ছিলাম। দুইদিন পর যেতে পেরেছিলাম। জোর পূর্বক না বরং নিজের দায়িত্ব আর কমন সেন্স থেকেই।
সেই হিসেবে, এখানে চাঁদ রাত এ বের হতে পারছি, ঈদের দিন ঘুরাঘুরি করতে পারছি। তাও খুব কান্না পাচ্ছে। অন্তত দুদিন পর তো যেতে পেরেছিলাম, দেখতে পেরেছিলাম বাবা কে। দিন যত যাচ্ছে, আমার বাবা টার বয়স বাড়ছে, আরো নরম হচ্ছে। প্রতি বছর যখন দেশে যাই, সবাইকে আরেকটু বয়স্ক দেখায়, আরেকটু নরম দেখায়, আরেকটু ক্লান্ত দেখায়। আমি কেন যেন এগুলা নিতে পারিনা। আগে খুব মেজাজ খারাপ হতো এটা ভেবে যে আমার বাবা আমাকে কখনোই বড় ভাবে না, আমাকে সেই ছোট টাই মনে করে সেজন্য অনেক কিছু তে বাঁধা পেতাম শুধু। এখন এই বয়সে আবার আমি আমার মন কে মানাতে পারিনা যে আমার বাবার বয়স্ হচ্ছে, তাকে যেন সেই আগের বাবা টাই মনে হয়। সব সময় প্রানবন্ত, অনেক এনার্জি আর মনের জোর ছিল যার। বিদেশি বয়স্ক লোক দের যেমন দেখে বুঝার উপায় থাকে না, আমার বাবাও অনেক টা তেমনি। জীবনের কোনো চড়াই উৎরাই তাকে কখনো কাবু করতে পারেনাই। এই যে আমি এত অসুস্থ হয়ে গেলাম হঠাৎ করে, দিনকে দিন শরীর খারাপের দিকে যেতে থাকলো, আমি অনেক মোটা হয়ে গেলাম, একজন ডাক্তার হয়েও কিছু ডাক্তারের গ্যাস লাইটিং এ আমি মানুষিক ভাবে হেরে গিয়েছিলাম। সেই অন্ধকার জায়গা থেকে কিন্তু আমার বাবা টাই আমাকে বের করে এনেছিল। সব ইনিশিয়েটিভ সে নিয়েছিল। মেয়ের মতন বলার পর ও যারা মোটা নিয়ে সব রকমের কথা শুনাতে ব্যস্ত ছিল, তখন যার মেয়ে, সেই কিন্তু এগিয়ে আসলো। আমি আমার বাবা কে এমনি দেখতে চাই সারা জীবন। আমার মাথার উপর ছায়া হয়ে যেন থাকে সারাজীবন।
I don't even know when I transitioned into an adult. I was always excited about new gadgets for sure but never this excited about kitchen stuff! Ninja Kitchen has had me pining over their deluxe kitchen system for some time now. But I was worried of space. We live in a small space where storing and using big things is kind of a problem. But I went for it because the way this would make my life easier would triumph over the storage issue.
