This year marks 50 years of him working in real estate, and the more I grow into this career, the more I understand what that really represents: A commitment to people’s dreams.

I grew up watching him serve families who came here looking for something better. More space. More stability. More opportunity for their kids.

People building a life from scratch. And he was there for it: guiding, supporting, answering calls at all hours.

At the time, I didn’t fully understand why the phone never stopped ringing. Now I do.

Because behind every call, there’s a decision that impacts a family’s future.

Where they’ll live.
How they’ll grow.
What kind of life they’re building.

There’s a perception that real estate is flexible. And it is… on the surface.

But the reality is that it requires showing up consistently when it matters most for someone else. Weekends. Evenings. In between everything.

What I’ve learned from him is simple: This business is built on trust. And trust is built on being present.

Carrying that legacy today means continuing the impact he’s had for decades, helping families move forward, build stability, and create something meaningful for the next generation.

The beach might be the expectation. But the phone call? The visits? The preparation for a listing? Working between kids activities? That’s the reality.

And it’s also where the real impact happens.
