Our logomark carries profound meaning and we believe it represents the essence of our practice and vision.
Integrated within the tree trunk are two human faces looking towards each other. Representing a world where individuals are supported & empowered to heal from trauma, met with compassion, to become more embodied, to forge even deeper connections with themselves, life and others.
This mirroring of the face represents the attunement and presence we have with our clients on the healing journey, symbolizing our shared experience.
What we don’t see is the network the tree’s root system is a part of. The collective nervous system of the entire forest.
Similarly, somatic therapy aims to help individuals not only develop resilience, inner strength but also connection to the whole.
The species of tree is a local coniferous and the style is indigenous-inspired which aims to add a depth of cultural richness. It pays homage to indigenous wisdom from all lands including the lands we have come from and the lands upon which we live and work today. The style signifies a respect for diverse cultures, and acknowledges the universality of trauma and the importance of culturally sensitive therapy.
