THIS CORNER! This Saturday! I've put together a bunch of musicians who represent the intersection of Queen St. W. and Dowling Ave. and they (and I) will all be performing and/or spontaneously jamming outdoors at that spot (Busking Station No. 5 in the Parkdale Music Crawl) on August 24. The beats kick off at 10am and groove on to 11pm (or later...). This day-and-night musical extravaganza celebrates diversity, welcoming musicians from all walks of life. Once an affordable housing haven and a sanctuary for musicians and immigrants, Parkdale now faces fresh hurdles. But THIS CORNER stands tall, bridging gaps with its harmonious spirit. Join the musical mashup!

Looking for a space for https://www.facebook.com/KeysToTheStudio a music program that matches people diagnosed with intellectual disabilities with Toronto professional musicians to create original music. Formerly at Masaryk-Cowan Community Centre from 2007, we need a wheelchair-accessible space that can handle amplified music and store music equipment. Parkdale or neighbouring areas preferred. Any suggestions welcomed! Thanks!
