This week, a small stone I picked up on the beach reminded me how even the hardest things can soften with time.
What once was too sharp to hold eventually becomes something smooth, grounded… and carried differently.

It made me reflect on what I’ve been holding that no longer belongs to me — and what I’m finally ready to set down.
