GOD’S GIFTED PROGRAM

Romans 12:8b (NLT)
If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously.

If you have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you are part of His gifted program. In simple terms, you are gifted—and so am I. The Bible teaches us that God has gifted each of us for a purpose —to serve Him. This is a foundational truth. It also teaches us that not all gifts are the same. God, in His wisdom and grace, has equipped each believer differently, enabling us to serve Him and one another in unique ways.

While we all share the privilege of being gifted by God, our gifts vary according to His design and purpose. These differences are not meant to divide us but to strengthen the body of Christ, as each of us contributes according to the grace we have received.

I believe that the gift of leadership is not given only to pastors. God wants to give this gift to many people, including you, because He wants us to lead others, whether that means leading small groups, mentoring individuals or guiding people in everyday life.

In leadership it’s all about a service-mindset, not a position-seeking mindset. True leaders are concerned with influence and service rather than with formal title or a position on a stage. As leaders, we take action because we are responsible and accountable. Therefore, doing nothing is not a good option.

Since we have been entrusted with the gift, we must be determined, motivated, spirited to ensure and maintain the mission and vision, and to win the race set before us, achieving the goals God has given us. We must be serious about God and about the things He has called us to do. We should live and work with passionate enjoyment and interest not because we are able, but because God is.

We may have been called and assigned by God differently to do ministry work, but one thing is common, God wants us to have passion and zeal—to be responsible and conscious to get the job done all for the greater glory of God, who has given us the great privilege to serve Him through the people He brings under our care.

PRAYER
God, You are the ultimate gift-giver and source of all our blessings. Today, we come to You in worship, adoration and praise. Lord, we ask that, by Your Spirit, You would cause the truth of Your Word to be realized in our lives. Grant us the grace to acknowledge and accept Your gift, and may we stir up this gift and faithfully steward the gifts we have received from You.

Lord, continue to fill our hearts with zeal for the work You have given us. Help us serve with joy, diligence and love, bringing glory and honor to You in all that we do. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen!
