Toasters at Lunch.CIBC

At the end of June, we celebrated the end of the year for our Toastmasters club. Our theme, “Why Vocal Variety is so Important”, focused on providing strategies and ways to use vocal variety not only in speech, but in everyday life. Our TableTopics Master brought questions to this session that invoked the volunteers to utilize ways to bring vocal variety to life. Many managed to showcase just how their pitch, tone and speed can significantly, and at times dramatically, change the audience’s attention.

This week, we will be having our inauguration session for our newly joined Toastmasters! Stop by and celebrate with us!

Toastmasters and Friends!

On April 6th, [email protected] held their club’s 25th anniversary celebrations! We had a special guest, former member and mentor of our club, Timothy Sulisz! Timothy shared a very insightful and engaging speech about the start of our club, and even divulged the decision in choosing the club’s name! Overall, it was a very wonderful meeting to celebrate our 25th anniversary, with hopefully 25 more years to come!
