Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we reflect on the significance of this day and the ongoing journey towards understanding and healing in Canada. While attending the Protein Industries Canada conference in Saskatoon earlier this month, we had the honor of listening to a former Chief of Cowessess First Nations, who spoke with incredible wisdom and candor about the importance of truth, reconciliation, and respect for Indigenous communities.

We are deeply grateful for their enlightening words, which reminded us that reconciliation is not just a day of reflection but a lifelong commitment to learning, empathy, and action.
