As part of our current science unit on human anatomy, a doctor of emergency medicine visited the class. He spoke to the class about how and why he began a career in health, his day to day experiences in the ER, and some notable cases that he has had in the past. It was fascinating to hear about the problem-solving and "detective" work that is part of his job. The students listened intently and had some great questions!
