🌊 Nibi Ongijigemiwin: Water is Calling.

💧 At 1–2:30PM EST, tune into our hybrid panel Defending Nibi (Water) Beyond Borders—where water defenders speak truth across colonial lines. Moderated by Dr. Sue Chiblow, with Chevaun Toulouse (Sagamok First Nations), Joe Bates & Sandy Deragon (Bad River Band Elders).
🪶 The day begins with ceremony, stories, and feasting. Elders from Garden River First Nation and SKG will open the day in prayer and water teachings. Isaac Murdoch will guide art builds throughout the day—and we’ll close with a screening of Bad River.
