Today marks the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression.

At ALPHA Education, we turn our focus to the children, those who have experienced violence, conflict, and injustice, and whose experiences and stories are too often overlooked and forgotten.

Children are among the most vulnerable victims of war and aggression, yet their voices are so rarely brought to the forefront. We remember them. We honour them. And we commit to advocating for their protection, not just today, but every day. 💙

This Asian Heritage Month, we are celebrating the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of Asian communities, and we'd love for you to join us.

Visit our APPmuseum, just one of ALPHA Education's programs dedicated to preserving and sharing Asian heritage, not only something we inherit; it is something we actively carry in meaningful, engaging ways: how do we remember? How do we listen? How do we act? across all communities.

📍 Come explore, learn, and connect with the stories that have shaped our communities.

Endgame tells the story of brave Chinese Canadians who stepped forward during wartime, hoping to prove they belonged.

Through family connections, identity, and untold stories, this book helps students see how the past connects to their lives today, and how we can all think more critically about the stories we hear and share.

Come join us this Thursday, the 30th, for a book talk by Endgame's author, Catherine Little, at WongAvery Asia Pacific Peace Museum, to explore the often-overlooked history of a group of Chinese men who volunteered to serve the Canadian military behind enemy lines during World War II in Asia.
