Some key developments since I last left a message here:
1. My life companion and author of “Damaged Angels”, Bonnie Buxton, succumbed to Alzheimer Disease in November of 2022.
2. Because of other responsibilities and my age (I’m now 87), I decided it was time to retire.
3. A new Board of Directors was created for FASworld Canada and the new President is Carol Gauthier.
4. the new Board has updated the name of the organization to FASD Canada and can be reached at [email protected]
5. I will continue to comment on this page and welcome comments and suggestions on all topics.
6. I plan to write with a focus on my memoir and will be glad to hear of any reminiscences on any subject concerning interactions with Bonnie and me over the years.

BreakingNews Out of Russia:
The residents of Anadyr, capital of the Chukorka Autonomous Okrug, have overwhelmingly voted to join Canada as a Provisional Territory. Mayor Ivan Liman was thrilled to report that I’ve 90% were in favour of Canada over the USA. As Mayor Liman said, “We looked at health care and preferred the single payer approach that we’re used to. And we sure didn’t want to exchange Russian oligarchs for American ones. We’re also counting on getting better deals on Sorel hi top mukluks and Canada Goose anoraks. When asked about policing on Chukotka, the Mayor simply shrugged.
