Tequeños are the most popular appetizer in Venezuela! They are a piece of fresco cheese wrapped in pastry and then fried until golden! Usually served with a sauce on the side as Garlic Mayo, Guasacaca (avocado sauce) or a sweet sauce as Sirop de papelon (raw sugar cane syrup) or guava sauce.
