Spiffy

You've probably noticed we use the words "Assigned" and "Extra Credit" on the Spiffy App, but do you know what these words mean?

There are two ways users can learn on Spiffy; by completing either Assigned or Extra Credit modules!

Assigned modules:
👉 Mandatory, deployed by your Team Admin (aka Manager)
👉 Send push notifications to your device upon deployment

Extra Credit modules:
👉 Optional, display in your learn feed based on the brands you follow in the Explore tab
👉 Choose your own adventure-style learning

But BOTH:
👉 Display in your Learn Feed (using different icons to identify what is what)
👉 Record in the Dashboard for your Team Admins
👉 Impact your Spiffy score
👉 Can be filtered on the home page of the Spiffy App
👉 Are GREAT ways to learn about your favourite brands, help you sell their products, & increase your ranks in the leaderboards

By now, you've probably heard us say we're all about rewarding and recognizing the most knowledgeable budtenders. With the launch of our most recent app update, we're using Spiffy Scores to help identify the best of the best!

So, what is a Spiffy Score?

Well, being a micro-learning app, we're trying to get away from traditional training methods where folks would "drink from the firehose" and retain very little information. For this reason, the calculation of Spiffy Scores includes points for all-time learning, pass rates and consistency in recent usage (to ensure your brain is absorbing a healthy amount of knowledge on an ongoing basis).
