Restoring the Wolastoq (Saint John River) watershed starts at the river's edge.

The Nashwaak Watershed Association Inc. (NWAI) is replanting riparian zones — the vital strips of land along riverbanks that, when healthy, are filled with lush, moisture-loving native trees and plants. Their work reduces erosion, improves water quality and creates important habitat for wildlife.

Through collaboration with landowners, communities and organizations like WWF-Canada, NWAI is helping build a healthier, more resilient watershed for all.
