Co-Founders Susan and Glenn started dancing salsa in 2005. Let’s talk about plantar fasciitis:
Plantar fasciitis usually presents as pain on the bottom of your heel or foot that is usually worse with your first steps out of bed in the morning. There are so many causes including improper or worn out footwear, a sudden change in activity level such as a long walk, run or jumping, weight gain, etc.

Plantar fasciitis can be a long-lasting nagging pain that you think will ‘just go away’ but it doesn’t. It’s common for people to endure this daily pain for longer than 3 months!

We have many techniques to help relieve the pain and speed up the healing process including soft tissue work, acupuncture, shockwave therapy, custom orthotics, and prescribed stretching and exercises.

These are some things you can do at home to help alleviate pain:
1 - before getting out of bed in the morning, pedal out your feet and ankles by pointing and flexing your feet for 20 repetitions
2 - use your blanket to gently assist stretching the back of your calves and legs and hold the stretch for 30 seconds
3 - throughout the day, practice using your toes to pick up objects like towels or clothes

Let’s figure out the root cause and help your feet heal.
