Gillian and Tom both took music lessons from a young age. Gillian was taught early piano by the wonderful Mrs. Kelly Kirby and was fortunate to have encouraging, excellent teachers throughout her musical development. In addition to their Royal Conservatory of Music training, Gillian and Tom both took courses in contemporary improvisation at York University. Gillian has studied both jazz and classical voice, and has a long professional career in pop music. Gillian was hand-picked by Elaine Overholt to teach singing in her prestigious Big Voice Studio in Toronto. Tom studied composition at York University and has been Music Director and Composer for Driftwood Theatre productions of Shakespeare's plays since 2002.
