This is 47.

Weirdly, all of my life, I’ve looked forward to this age. It’s always been my favourite number - it’s a prime number, it’s made up of my two fave numbers, it looks great in calligraphy…(you get how my brain works🤪) - and here I am.

And it feels wonderful.

Somewhere along the way, we got the idea that it was wrong for women to get older. That’s dumb.

Yes, I am thrilled to be in bed early, and feel my muscles when I do things sometimes…. And I also feel so much more at home in my own skin and soul.

It’s a bloody huge privilege to get older and I am celebrating that today and this entire year, starting with a collection of some of my favourite moments from 2024 that brought me here.
