We are heartbroken today with the sudden and tragic news of the passing of Mark Brusso (details remain unknown at the current time). Please know we are in communication with his loved ones and as information comes forth we'll update you when appropriate.

Mark was a foundational member of the LDCC's Race Team and hands down one of the most respected and admired racers in Ontario. A devastatingly powerful rider with countless wins and provincial championships in both MTB and Cyclocross. Off the bike, he was a gentle and caring individual who embodied all of the positive traits of a true ambassador of our club, sport and community.

This is a most difficult time for many of us who knew him. We remember his charm, his passion, his incredible dedication to constantly improving his performance on the bike, his meticulous attention to details, his fondness of good coffee, and yes... fast bikes.

Given the suddenness of this news, memorial and funeral information is unknown. We'll provide this once details are confirmed.

July 1st, Celebrate Canada Day and channel your inner explorer. This will be an EPIC Multi-surface / Gravel Adventure to truly pay homage to those who helped to found this great country. Ride details and cartography are now posted on the LDCC Cycle Club App. We start at the Inglewood Rail Trail entrance... from there... adventure awaits.
