One Vision One Voice

Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, One Vision One Voice honours the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and the ongoing resilience of Indigenous families and communities.
 
Reconciliation requires truth, accountability, and action. 

For OVOV, this means continuing to listen to Indigenous voices, standing in solidarity with Indigenous partners, and working to ensure that Ontario’s child welfare system advances justice, equity, and healing for all children and families.
 
We encourage our networks to engage in reflection, learning, and meaningful action today and every day - because reconciliation is not only about remembering, but about building a more just future together.

Future Black Female Roundtable: Afrocentric Perspectives on Preventing GBV

This gathering will explore culturally relevant, trauma-informed strategies to address Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Intimate Partner Violence (IPV).

The ACB-FGC is seeking a Special Projects and Operations Manager (Term) to support the work of delivering culturally responsive Family Group Conferencing and mediation to African, Caribbean and Black (ACB) families and youth in the Toronto area.

Under the direction of the Principal Investigators (P*s), the Special Projects and Operations Manager will be an experienced, relationship-focused, and entrepreneurial leader responsible for transforming this project into a non-profit organization.
