I don’t often share super personal stories, but before I close this chapter I wanted to share this one.

2 years ago, 2 days before fashion school started, I suffered a serious head injury that put me on bed rest in a dark room for 2 weeks. Luckily back then, classes were still remote because of the pandemic so I was able to catch up after a month. School had only just begun and I already felt like I was 10 steps behind.

Fast forward to today, I look back at my journey and everything I’ve been able to accomplish since then and nothing has felt more true to me than this. It doesn’t matter how you start, what matters Is how you finish. We can’t control everything that happens to us but we can choose how to respond to these situations. Never give up on your dreams and do what you love as tomorrow is not promised.

I feel blessed to be surrounded by my supportive family and friends who have helped me along my journey. I truely could not have done this without them.
