The Coldest Night of the Year is a moment when tens of thousands of Canadians step outside the warmth and comfort of home and shine a light of welcome and inclusion.

On Feb. 26, 2022, communities from coast to coast will come together to walk and fundraise in support of local charities. This year, Hotspex is partnering with Coldest Night of the Year to raise money to fund critical services and support vulnerable families and individuals in our community.

❄ In Downtown Toronto, Hotspex will be walking to raise money with the Fort York Food Bank
❄ In Toronto’s east end, Hotspex will be walking to raise money with Red Door Family Shelter
❄Remote Hotspexers will be joining us virtually and walking in their respective communties and regions.

Each step we take brings someone closer to safety, health, and home, as together, we raise funds for organizations whose commitment and work transforms peoples’ lives.⁠ We walk humbly, realizing that anyone can lose their footing and then lose everything else.

It’s cold out there! The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly walk to raise money for local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. Team up, walk, and fundraise! It’s cold out there... but there’s no place like home.

We value and support mental health at Hotspex, and in keeping with our purpose and values, we will be continuing our annual tradition and closing our physical and virtual offices between Dec 24th-Jan 3rd for an additional paid week of PTO, to give everyone a chance to recharge with their loved ones. This is something we’ve done for many years, as we find it allows our amazing team to focus on what really matters: family and friends.
