This blog features styling tips & tricks, smart wardrobe ideas, places to shop in Toronto and I share my personality along the way, too.

A couple of weeks ago, I gave you 5 facts about me: true & false ones ( ). Some of you had really good guesses.

Let’s go back to them!

1. More than clothes, I love food and world cuisines. TRUE.

⭐️ I used to work in 5* hotels and I was exposed to so many cuisines & even a celebrity chef, that I’ve become a connoisseur of world cuisines, a gourmet.

2. I speak 6 languages: English, Russian, German, Arabic, French, and Portuguese. FALSE.

⭐️ I am bilingual (Russian-English). But I also speak some German, French, and Arabic; no Portuguese. My professional background is Applied Linguistics, teaching English as a Second Language. Absolutely love languages!

3. In 2018, I was considering writing a doctorate dissertation on Teaching lower-level listening skills to ESL learners. TRUE.

⭐️ In 2018, I took a Master’s Degree program at York U, and was really thinking in staying in the academia. Pandemic changed my plans, though. My entrepreneurial spirit has won 😁.

4. I am good at sailing ⛵️. FALSE. ⭐️ In fact, I almost sank as I was steering a sail boat on my own. I had a dream to learn how to sail. I started taking classes. The day when I was supposed to sail independently was so scary to me. I was shaking as I was doing so. Had no clue what to do with the boat in the middle of Ontario lake. I managed to bring the boat back to the shore somehow. No more sailing since then. Only paddling.

5. I love sleeping in the bathroom. FALSE!

It happened to me once though. I had to sleep in the bathroom as my bathroom lock got broken & I could not get out of it at night. Luckily, I had my phone with me. In the morning, I texted my neighbor & she got me out of there. After that, I changed my bathroom locks everywhere & but keep on carrying my phone with me; just in case 😀.

What fact was the most amusing?

KEEPING WHITE TOPS WHITE IN SUMMER

Tell you the truth?

I’m quite sweaty during spring/summer months.

And obviously 🙄, my light t-shirts & shirts, and tops get these nasty yellow stains.

I guess I am not the only one as I see this in my clients’ wardrobes, too.

But, as I like saying: THERE IS ALWAYS A SOLUTION!

Save this recipe for a yellow stain remover.

You need:

✅ 1/3 cup hydrogen peroxide 3-5%
✅ 1/3 cup baking soda
✅ 2 tbsp blue dawn dish soaps (or any dish soap)

What to do:

1. Mix soda with dish soap and apply the paste onto the stain.
2. Then pour peroxide on top of the paste.
3. Let it sit for an hour.
4. Wash after as usual.

Say goodbye to yellow stains 🌟
