Alley. I've always loved making little crafts and learning to knit and crochet, but I make a lot of things that end up sitting around in my room! Those who are students understand my pain. So I figured why not start selling my crafts so I can generate income and make MORE CRAFTS??? And thus CraftyCrumbs was born. Weird name isn't it? I thought of naming it Crumbs of Stuff or Crumbs of Awesome, but of all the 50,000 names I came up with, none were as catchy to me. Why CRUMBS??? Well, I started making crafts relating to my childhood obsession of nintendo games (namely Starfox and Mario on Nintendo 64...and who can forget Cruisin USA?). And I played these games with my super awesome cousin, Adam. We have an inside joke that has to do with Crumbs, so I figured, I wanted to name my store after something that was important to both him and myself because of how important he is to me. So eliminating the word "crumbs" was out of the question. =)
CraftyCrumbs just came to me when I was applying for my official Etsy store...Could be that I was having a creative day, or it could have just been the pressure of being asked for my store name that once I click "enter", I could not change. But that is the story of how it all came to be. And now? I've got this little side business in my life just for my hobbies. Who wouldn't like that? =)
