Tonight is our final international DJ event. After spending numerous nights with Toronto's party people on Mercer Street, Maison Mercer is officially shuttering its doors. While this marks the end of years of sold-out parties, appearances by celebrities and performances by some of the globe's most renown musicians, it breaks our hearts to say that this downtown beacon for nightlife is departing the entertainment district.
The Last Dance is our way of saying thank you to everyone who visited, celebrated and enjoyed this beautiful treasure we call Maison Mercer. Our club has been the home to many unforgettable nights for many people around Canada and the world.
It seems only fair to say goodbye by bringing someone with globetrotting caliber to perform on June 1st. Hot Creations label boss Jamie Jones will provide you with some of the final music you'll hear at 15 Mercer Street. Thank you for sharing the dance floor with us!
To date, Jamie’s label Hot Creations has put out over 100 releases, with the 100th, ‘Kooky Chords’, coming from Jamie himself last September, hitting the number 2 spot on Beatport’s chart. The label has also helped launch the careers of numerous artists such as Patrick Topping, Richy Ahmed and Detlef, who also make up part of the loyal Paradise family Jamie has built around him.
