Shareholders of Sierra Metals Inc. voted in support of the current Board of Directors at the annual meeting of shareholders that was held this afternoon. This was not an easy win - a dissident shareholder with a long history with the company that held almost 27% of its outstanding shares attempted to replace the majority of the board with its own nominees. The board and management did an absolutely amazing job at influencing shareholders by actively engaging with them no matter how large or small their holding.
