Using a robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery system, surgeons can perform complex procedures in less time and with smaller incisions, which may result in shorter recovery times and reduced pain. We developed this medical animation to visualize robotic-assisted inguinal hernia repair, showcasing anatomy & medical device movement in a way that helps educate patients.

In honor of Alzheimer's Awareness Month this June, AXS Studio is highlighting an illustration developed for Scientific American that visualizes the hallmarks of Alzheimer’s within the brain. Amyloid plaques and tau tangles are protein deposits that disrupt neuron communication, eventually leading to cell death and cognitive decline. Understanding the root causes of this disease is the first step in developing a cure 🧠
